The 16 Best Date Night Restaurants In Atlanta, Georgia
Finally we asked another waitress who immediately took our drink and appetizer order, apologized profusely, and went and got out drinks. Finally our waitress came and introduced herself.
I admit it was busy in there but I did see our waitress walk by several times without a word. A hello and I will be right with you would have been nice. Now the food arrives and makes up for any and all errors previously made. We started with the Southern Plate. Ham salad was very tasty, the pimento cheese was amazing. It was smooth and also had a great taste. The dilly beans were a mix of spice and tangy. Nice combo. Lastly the Jam was a nice added sweetness to the appetizer.
The chicken was amazing. Some are thinking, big deal it's chicken, but we were thinking, this chicken is excellent and probably the best I have ever had. Be sure to check out the gorgeous wine garden in the backyard! The food and drinks here are exceptional. I chose to share a photo of my favorite dish the cache e pepe…be still my soul, it is perfection , but the interior of the restaurant is stunning.
The menu follows the seasons, using whatever is local and available. Launderette East Austin Launderette is about as cute and quirky as they come! Il Brutto, a lovely Italian restaurant in east Austin, has a beautiful shaded patio overlooking E 6th St, homemade pasta, brick-oven fired pizza, and incredible Italian cocktails. Expect things like wild hog, rabbit, and quail. Odd Duck South Austin This popular Austin restaurant started as a food truck and grew into a successful brick-and-mortar on South Lamar.
Chef Bryce Gilmore was at the forefront of the farm-to-table movement, and Odd Duck is still one of the best places to experience seasonal food that has been beautifully prepared. PS: brunch here is phenomenal as well.
One of my favorite brunch spots in Austin! But the real star of the show here? Be sure to order this off-menu item. Congrats, chef! The masa is ground in-house to make tortillas from scratch, and much of the decor is imported from Mexico.
Plates are small and made to be shared. The sprawling patio overlooking SoCo is shaded by massive Live Oak trees, so I love enjoying raw oysters out there when the weather is nice. This a wonderful place to enjoy breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
